Join us for a night of fun, collegial camaraderie and a chance to gain some insight into cases that could be unusual, rare or challenging.
There is also a short, fun quiz with a winning prize.
It's a fun quiz, NOT an exam, so relax, gather your colleagues, sharpen your pencils and get ready to put your knowledge to the test!
Guest Speaker: Dr. Jilen Patel (Title: Swelling in the paediatric dental emergency setting)
Dr Jilen Patel is a specialist paediatric dentist, consultant at PCH, Associate Professor at UWA Dental School and principal dentist at Castlegate Family Dental Care. For over a decade, Jilen has been involved with providing volunteer dental services to remote Aboriginal communities and is a director of the Kimberley Dental Team. Jilen's research interests include dental public health and cariology, and his PhD created the first evidence-based quality improvement framework for dental care to remote Indigenous communities. He has received both the Royal Australasian College Emerging Lecturer Award, the ADA/Pierre Fauchard Academy's Young Lecturer Award and he recently received the ADA Outstanding Young Dentist Award for his contribution to the profession.
